Cabernet Cuddles

I know I’ve said it before, but I seriously think Winery Dogs have it all.

Sorry I’ve been a little ‘absent’ lately. I’ve been doing some thinking. Lot’s of thinking. So much, that I think my brain might explode. Hopefully I’ll get my thoughts into some sort of order over the weekend and I might share them with you all next week. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Wanting to be outside

Winery dogs seem to have the best life. They are free to come and go as they please. They can choose to get cuddles or to find a shady place for a sleep. Sometime though, you still have to wait for someone to open the door for you.

Golden Love

I truly hope everyone loves Golden Retrievers because….well, you might get to see quite a few this week. I went searching through my archives today, and whatever folder I opened seemed to have Golden Retriever photos in it.

I usually plays these games with myself, allowing fate to choose which photos I post each week. Often I get quite a mix of dog breeds, but this week it’s mostly Goldens. Enjoy.

Winery Dog at Longshadow Ranch

This photo was taken at Longshadow Ranch Winery in Temecula, CA last weekend. It’s a fun place to visit and they have quite a few beautiful, big draft horses on the property. At the time I was taking shots of this dog, one of the horses decided to make some noise, drawing everyone’s attention.

Sydney

BUY A PRINT, CANVAS OR GIFT CARDS

Yesterday a few friends and I headed out to the wine country at Temecula. It was a stunning warm day and spring was certainly in the air.

I met Sydney, the eight year old Australian Shepherd, at the Hart Family Winery. He and his nephew Rocket have the run of the place and enjoy meeting all the visitors who come in for wine tastings. Doesn’t he just look like he owns the place?
