On the streets of Madison, Indiana

I met this little cutie while on a roadtrip through Indiana and Kentucky one weekend last month. We made the mistake of heading off early one Sunday morning, only to find that all the little towns we passed through were so completely closed that they seemed like ghost towns.

Finally, we made it to Madison, Indiana around midday, just as it was coming to life. We enjoyed coffee frappes on the sidewalk before taking a leisurely stroll through this quaint little town.

I’ll be raiding my archives later today for more dog photos and later this week I hope to bring you a ‘before and after’ photo that I worked on this morning. I thought it about time I expose my post-processing to the world.

On another note, does anyone know what breed this little fella is? I have no idea what to categorise him as.

The streets of Dubrovnik

This shot was taken in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I loved walking around this beautiful old walled town when I visited in 2006. Today has been spent wandering around Old Town Quebec and I must say it is just as beautiful. Ill be back home next week and will try to get back into my proper blogging then. Crossing the street

She wasn’t barking at me…In fact she was posing quite nicely for me prior to capturing this moment. A man walked up behind me and she started barking at him.

On the streets of San Francisco

As I squatted down to photograph this little fellow on the streets of San Francisco I overheard, “Some people will photograph anything.”

Is it really that strange to take photographs of dogs? I often wonder what people are thinking of me when I’m out on the street madly snapping away at any dog I spot. But then I think…I’m an Aussie. With this accent I can get away with being just another crazy tourist! :)

Bisbee

Photographed in the main street of Bisbee, Arizona. Can anyone please confirm the breed of this dog. I get a little confused with the small breeds because they can be clipped in so many different ways.
