The streets of Dubrovnik

This shot was taken in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I loved walking around this beautiful old walled town when I visited in 2006. Today has been spent wandering around Old Town Quebec and I must say it is just as beautiful. Ill be back home next week and will try to get back into my proper blogging then. Thanks to all for the comments left while Ive been away.

The Thinker

Gone Fishing

This was one of the first dog photographs I captured when I moved to San Diego. We were investigating our new neighbourhood and were quite taken with our proximity to San Diego Bay. This little fellow was keeping his humans company while they were fishing.

Beagle chew toy

I photographed this beagle for a client in Canberra about 18 months ago. I just love his pose.

I’m off on another roadtrip

I truly dread to think about how many miles Brendan and I are going to drive this year. This is our third big road-trip since December 2007. We really do find that this is the best way to see a country though, and we can’t wait to see a couple of new States and Provinces.

Zoe is once again going to enjoy her vacation at Camp Diggity Dogs. No doubt she’ll come home exhausted again from too much fun. This photo of Zoe was taken on the first occasion she had ever seen snow. I don’t think she much liked the cold on her paws, but she’ll go almost anywhere to chase a stick.

The inspection

One of ‘A Dog a Day’s’ regular readers recently asked whether I have any photographs of a Neapolitan Mastiff. Unfortunately, I’ve never had the opportunity to photograph this breed, but if any of the other dog photographers dropping by have a photo on their blog, please feel free to leave us a link.

I’ll always try my best to accomodate requests so if you’d like to see a particular breed, please let me know.

In there meantime, here is the closest I have….a Bull Mastiff. This photo was taken during a Dog Show in Canberra a couple of years back.

Soul Dog Collection - Three

Although I truly love the photo of Lexie, I think Zorro’s canvas is my favourite from the Soul Dog Collection. It looks awesome on a large canvas and I still have him hanging on my wall. He travelled all the way from Australia. :)
