On Thursday morning we jet off for a long weekend in San Francisco. This has been on my ‘Must Do’ list for a long while, so I’m very excited that I’m finally going. Of course I’ll be checking out the following ‘tourist attractions’ in San Francisco, but I also want to see some of the areas that locals love.

• Alcatraz Island
• Cable cars
• Fisherman’s Wharf
• Golden Gate Bridge
• Lombard Street
• Bay & Cityscape

I’m also planning a day trip out to the Wine Country (Sonoma Valley) and another along the coast to Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel. It’s going to be a busy four days!

For the locals, or people who know the region well….If I wanted to see fantastic locations in San Francisco where I’m bound to find dogs to photograph, where should I go?
