Who cut my bangs like this?

A random meeting of strangers

I watched these two meet at the Grand Canyon. Within 30 seconds, one had rolled over to accept the love the other was offering. Why can’t human relationships be so easy?

Canberra Dog Walker

I can’t tell you how much I loved living in Canberra. We experience all four seasons which is unusual in Australia, I can wear jackets most of the year, the cafes are fantastic, the museums and art galleries are accessible, the markets are funky, the people are great, the parks beautiful, the traffic tame. I really can’t wait to live there again.

Bored

I love when you get to the point in photographing a dog when they finally go, “Ho Hum. Are you still here?” Then the natural shots start coming out.

Peek-a-boo

Oscar contemplates taking a leap of faith onto a chair.

Market street in Varanasi

Plenty of Indian silk and cotton scarves were purchased in this market. I think we did a deal and got 50 scarves for about $10. Seriously, I still have about two dozen in my drawer, but it’s too hot in California to wear them all.

Smiling Husky

I’ve been terribly slack and missed a whole day of posting. Eeeek! My excuse: my Mum is here from Australia and I have one day left at work before a big road-trip around California. Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth going away when you have to run around like crazy before and after.

Anyway, I have some automatic postings lined up while I’m away and I promise to catch up on everyone’s blogs when I get back. I hope everyone is well!
