Zoe at Balboa Park

A couple of weekends ago, we took Zoe hiking along the trails in Balboa Park. Even though we only went for a short hike, it was a warm day, and her tongue started getting longer and longer. I photographed her at the end of the hike while she enjoyed the views. This image reminds me so much of Australia, with all the gum trees. A little piece of home here in San Diego.

    Hey! I’ve photographed my German Shepherd around that same spot! I’ve recently found your blog…how did I not know you were in San Diego, too?? And have a GSD! (have we met?) She looks almost bigger than Borias!

    Well Jamie…it did actually rain yesterday….for about 5 minutes. That’s the first rain in about 6 months I think. Sorry to rub it in :)

    Oh, this makes me homesick! I moved from San Diego to Denver two years ago. I still miss the place. This shot reminds me of a spot in the park where I set up & did a painting.
