When I first started A Dog A Day in April, I had planned to post a photograph of a dog every day of the year. I’ve recently started tracking the traffic to this blog and haved noticed a drop in visitors on the weekends. I’m considering make ‘A Dog A Day’ a five day a week thing, but I’d really love to know what you, the blog readers think.

ditto grace! i love this pic, btw — this is the exact same face sienna makes when she’s biting the vaccuum cleaner!
As much as I enjoy viewing your blog - you need a life too! I reckon we can all cope with 5 days a week. Or post twice on Fridays & Mondays!
EVERYDAY! More to read on Monday :)
Mia, I’m a definite vote for 365 days worth of dogs! It’s my Sunday morning ritual - and if I don’t make it on Sunday then I have exra to look forward to at work on Monday morning - and God knows, having anything to look forward to on a Monday morning makes it worth keeping!! Here’s to weekend dogs!!!
I think you should go with your original plan of putting up a picture of a dog everyday, hence the name “A Dog a Day.” I think there are probably a lot of people who don’t necessarily read it every single day anyway, but enjoy catching up on them every few days - like me! And if you have enough pictures, why not? :)
I’ve noticed the same thing happening on my blog. But on the weekends I’m still checking the long list of blogs I love to read (yours is 4th on the list!!!). I’d say to keep it up, I enjoy it! :D
All bloggers need a break, Im happy with 5 doggies a week :)
I didn’t vote - there was no option for what ever pleases you to continue A Dog A Day.
Me too Jill :) Can’t start out my morning without checking everyone’s blog!
I am definitely addicted to the internet!! haha…
One Trackback
[…] As you may have guessed by the existence of today’s post, I’ve decided to keep posting a dog photo EVERY day, including weekends. I really appreciated the advice from those of you who left comments on my original post. […]
