While in Whistler Village last week I got caught in a downpour. As I ran for shelter I looked over to the awning opposite to see these two gazing into each others eyes. Do you think its love?

see, this is what I mean by true photojournalism. If your subject knows you are there somehow you can tell in the shot(s). I can’t figure out how, it’s probably all of those really subtle subconscious body language signals that people (and animals) send. To be able to capture true, unaffected scenes like this is true photojournalism! It is such a pure moment, and that is what it makes it so touching and emotionally affecting. It’s completely, authentically- honest. “Honest dog photography”? Now there’s a catch phrase for you, ha! I love thinking about this stuff, thanks for raising the question Mia!
