My sister Emily has just returned from her cruise in the South Pacific. She called me yesterday to let me know that during the trip she got engaged to her long time partner Troy. I couldn’t be happier for them both and I’m so pleased that Troy will be joining our family.
Today’s photo of their boy Russ is dedicated to the happy event. I know Emily’s been waiting ever so patiently for her boy to show up on the blog.
We aren’t really sure how old Russ is because he was found as a stray. He’s the most gentle dog I know and has such a laid back presence. Even when he runs after a ball he looks like he’s doing it in slow motion.

Mia, I’ve been waiting to see Russ. It was the photo’s you took of him and then posted to the pets folder on the DRN that made me book you to take photo’s of Jonty and Bailey. He’s a gorgeous looking boy (I am very Goldie biased of course) Someone’s loss was definitely Emily and Troy’s gain. Beautiful Goldie!
Awwww, there’s my boy…. thanks for posting this pic, I just love it! Russ had a quick sniff of the diamond ring on my finger but didn’t seem to realise the significance…. I just hope he’s still around when we have human puppies! You know those portraits you did of him on the lounge… he seems to be waiting for you to come back as he has taken to sneaking up onto the lounge when we aren’t looking!!!! But he’s so cute we just can’t kick him off!
Thanks Grace. I really love digital scrapbooking. I’m a reasonably messy person, so I can only imagine what would happen if i tried paper scrapbooking. I wish I had more time to do this though.
