No shortage of ‘doodles!

I captured this photo when we visited Idyllwild back in March. Quite a lot of the business owners had their pets in the store with them. I really wish I could take my dog into work.

I’ve noticed over the last couple of years that I’ve photographed quite a lot of ‘doodles’…you know…labradoodles, goldendoodles etc. Anyone have another type I’ve doodle I should know about? How about a Cockerdoodle? That would be funny.

I think you are right Polly. I had wondered why I hadn’t heard of Goldendoodles in Australia. Groodle sounds better I think. Not so wordy.

Mia, I think ‘Goldendoodle’ must be an Americanism, more commonly known as a Groodle here in Oz. Have you seen a Cavoodle (Cavalier/Poodle cross) very cute. Mind you, a few years ago all of these dogs were simply your run-of-the-mill, lovely mutt from the pound, now they’re costing lots of $$$$! I love this fella, don’t you just want to kiss that gorgeous, shaggy face! Great photo.
