Those of you keeping up with me will know that I’m currently on holidays in Canada. The blog has been running somewhat on autopilot while I’ve been away, but I’ve managed to take so many dog photos in the last week that I thought I should start posting them.
On the second day of our trip we arrived into the little town of Revelstoke to find a Spring Festival in full swing. The streets were closed off to cars so locals and visitors alike were enjoying walking and cycling through the main streets and many of them had their dogs with them.
Up until this week I’ve never had the opportunity to photograph a Basset Hound, so I’m glad I finally got the chance. I just love their short stumpy legs, long ears and sad, droopy eyes.

Hey Jamie. I simply publish my posts with a future date so that they are lined up and ready to go, no matter where I am at the time. I’ll certainly look into PhotoQ to see if will streamline the process. Thanks for the info.
Pointy head!!!
I just squealed this shot is so cute. Great capture!
Hey Mia, do you use an auto-post plug-in to post your images online when you are traveling? If not I just came across one (called PhotoQ) that looks like it would be perfect for you. You can set the queue with as many images as you like, give them captions, and write text to go underneath, almost like a regular post, then set the images to post every day, or however often you like. You can go in anytime you want to upload images to the queue. Perhaps at your next internet cafe?? So cool!
